the sling is machine washable and made using non toxic dyes - should your baby chew it, they will not be harmed. it is not bulky - it packs up to the size of a jumper and can be used as a blanket if you put your baby down. there are no adjustments to be made if a different carrier wants to use the sling.depending on your baby's age or mood you can change baby's position to whatever makes them happiest: from facing-in, facing-out or hip position.comes in 3 sizes: small; medium; large. sizing is dependent on the carrier. small is for petit built person; medium for the average built and larger for the bigger framed person.
